PLAN YOUR TRAVEL FOR AMBIORA

Less than 7 Days are left for Ambiora. It’s time to plan your travel to our campus for the Act 3 of the Ambiora Experience. NMIMS Shirpur, situated at the banks of Tapi River in Shirpur, has great infrastructure, the beauty and essence of the river along with the cool river breeze  just add charm and liveliness to your life in Shirpur Campus. Shirpur being very close to the borders of three states Maharashtra, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh, is well reckoned with its glorifying gold and cotton industry. It can be easily accessed through any of the three states. The three nearest big cities are Mumbai, Indore and Surat. We would like to help you to plan your travel in order gain the Act 3 of Ambiora Experience.

Maharashtra-
The nearest cities in Maharashtra would be Mumbai, Nashik, Pune. The closest however would be Dhule, i.e. 1 hour away from our campus. Dhule provides the Rail service to most of the cities from Maharashtra. One can catch a train from Mumbai, Nashik or Pune to Dhule and reach the campus by a State Bus or a private vehicle. Buses are also a great option from Metro cities like Mumbai. Buses of Navkar, Jai Mata Di, ShriSai are a widely used transport for all the students coming from Mumbai. Shirpur can also be visited by Road. Our campus is just off the the Mumbai – Agra Highway, the highway famous for its smooth and silent sailing. Also just a few hours away is Shirdi, abode of SaiBaba. One can plan his travel to this Holy Shrine.

Android App Unveiled

This Edition of Ambiora has a series of many firsts. Among these was the unveiling of AMBIORA Fest-  the android app. The growing popularity of the App and Touch culture had our Fest Organizers intrigued. We have to get one, they said. This wasn’t much of a challenge to the bright minds in the college campus. So an Android App was developed and put up on the Google Android Play Store. But of course it had to be inaugurated by our adored Director Tapan Bagchi Sir and the beloved Associate Dean, Dr M.V. Deshpande Sir.

Yesterday, at the Central Foyer, with a huge crowd, the App was unveiled to the college to much applause and cheer. We were looking at a modern extension of the Ambiora Experience and it doesn’t get any better. Something that we are sure will spark a trend. Some call it “The next gen thing by the minds of the Campus” While others say its “More fuel to the fire of Ambiora”. All we can say is that this App was an instant hit. So much that we could see students download it on the spot.

All we can say about the app is that it is nothing short of magnificent. Full of detail, be it regarding the events which are classified in layman’s terms to enhance comprehensibility, or any contact detail that any participant might need in the entire fest you name it, we’ve got it. Read all about the recent happenings and current statuses of events in the Recent Updates section. Everything right from an Event’s inception to Winner announcement, everything important will be updated.

We can see by the amount of detail all the man hours that the designer of the app has put in its creation. Kudos for the hard work!!
